CEO & Founder of ADCA Charter Academy
Dr. Mughid Carroll is the CEO & Founder of ADCA Charter Academy, an educational visionary and transformational leader devoted to redefining what excellence looks like in a modern K–12 charter academy.
Originally from Pearl, Mississippi, Dr. Carroll relocated to North Carolina in 2022 with a clear mission: to design a school where academic ambition, character formation, and innovation work together to prepare students for meaningful futures.
He holds two Master's Degrees in Education and earned his Doctorate in Philosophy of Education from North Carolina A&T State University. His scholarship and practice are anchored in leadership, excellence, innovation, and the empowerment of every learner.
Under his direction, ADCA is being built as a premier institution committed to student success and lasting community impact — with plans to launch the ADCA Virtual Academy in Atlanta, Georgia for the 2026–2027 school year, extending the academy's reach across state lines.
